LIFE AFTER LONDON

Most ex LT Merlins and Swifts went for scrap but a number were sold on for further service. Many of these saw further PSV use but some became mobile showrooms, school buses or film unit catering vehicles.

Their numbers have slowly dwindled over the years and so I am compiling a list of all the remaining vehicles that are known to me. If anyone can add to this list then please let me know. A comprehensive history of the London Merlins and Swifts can be found at Ian's Bus Stop.
Many thanks to Paul Watson for providing most of the photographs for this section and Chris Sullivan for much of the information.

MB 90 at North Weald 25/6/95. Although this former location vehicle wore a patchwork colour scheme for some time it has since been repainted into original green livery. A great deal of work has also gone on behind the scenes, including re-instatement of the centre exit and complete replacement of all wooden framework.
